My Post-Lockdown Experience with UrbanClap

Hi Guys,

In today’s blog, I will be sharing my first post-lockdown experience with UrbanClap. And if you are someone who wants to try their services but is sceptical about the safety, please go through the whole blog, and then you can decide for yourself!

BTW, it is after the long gap of 5 months that I finally decided to call UrbanClap masseuse. Now, without further delay let’s dive into the details about the service and the experience.

Details about the Service

Starting with the service, I took “Rejuvenation Therapy”. It was a 100 minutes session that included-

· 60 minutes top to toe relaxation therapy

· 20 minutes head and shoulders

· 20 minutes foot reflexology

· A choice of 3 different oils mentioned in my therapy was also given.

The professional also brought her own bed and provided me with the clothes (merely a piece of fabric) that are appropriate for massage. Here, please note, if you are someone who would prefer your own bed, I advise you to please call and tell the assigned professional in advance. Because the bed is really heavy and it will save ‘em a lot of extra effort.

Now talking about the claims, the massage claimed to provide quick relief from headaches, muscle tension, and detoxification.

Apart from this, a special mention of how pregnant women or people suffering from a medical condition should take guidance from their doctors before taking up this service. Also, it was advised not to take any heavy meal 2 hours before the massage.

I am still learning to click the pictures with right angles but it's not that easy!

Just to give you guys an overview of how bed actually looks like! They are really heavy and sturdy that's why I suggested you to tell 'em in advance if you don't need it.
Her name was Neetu. She was kind enough to give me her picture while she was drinking water after the service and it was probably only this time when she removed her mask for not more than 2-3 minutes

The Experience

Before the experience, I was mostly worried about sanitization but to my surprise, I found that the professional was taking all the precautions and better than most of the big salons. She came along with a mask, a face shield, and with pairs of few gloves. I got so happy about the fact that she wore them throughout the service “properly”, not just the sake of wearing ‘em.

As soon as she entered, she sanitized her hands and mine as well. She also sanitized the whole bed, put on the calming music, and showed me how she is using everything fresh. Throughout the experience, she kept on checking if I was comfortable with the pressure or if there is any area that needs special attention without annoying me obviously! Once done, she also sanitized every single thing again, and while leaving she even sanitized the door handle! I was more than happy about everything.

One of the most satisfying features of the service was being able to see the professional’s temperature log of the past 3 days. I know that’s not enough but it gave me a sense of safety and motivated me to continue with my booking.

To summarize, I would say that I loved the experience, it did calm my nerves and I felt a little better for a while. I would totally book it again after a month or so! Loved it!

One little tip: Please take a good look at the assigned professional’s profile and the reviews while booking because whether the experience will be good or bad depends on them only. I also suggest you call them in advance and ask what all is included in the service to avoid any confusion.

That is it for today. I hope, this post has provided you with the information needed. In case you have any questions, please mention them in the comment box or DM me on my Instagram handle i.e. @sakshi_dhyni.

Also, please note that this post is not at all sponsored by anyone and I am not getting a single penny from anywhere for putting it out here. I am just doing it out of my love for blogging! Until next time…

Love Love,

Sakshi
