Celebrate Raksha Bandhan in Style: 5 Ethnic Outfits for You

Hi Guyyyss!

I hope you all are doing fine. I am good too. And it’s been almost a week that I have not published any new blog. Thanks to my habit of procrastination, I am nowadays struggling to set my schedule. But now I will try to make myself more active so that I can document more of my blogs for you guys.

Enough with my blabbering. Now, let’s talk about today’s blog.

So, Raksha Bandhan is around the corner and I cannot wait to dress up. I know it’s the lockdown and you have nowhere to go but I choose to enjoy whatever I can even if that means dressing up and sitting at home with my family. And in case, you are also interested in doing the same then you might like what I am going to show you next.

I have selected 5 outfits that are affordable and are perfect for the occasion. So, here come my top 5 outfits:

1. Here & Now- Green and Golden Woven Design Straight Kurta

The golden woven design on the green colour looks so elegant and the sleeves are just of the right length. The best part- it's on sale and available under Rs.1000. You can wear it in so many ways. For example, do the colour blocking like in the picture, make it monochrome with green leggings or palazzo, or pair it with the net golden dupatta and wear some jewellery. Voila! You are good to go.

2. Inddus- Lavender Silk Blend Woven Design Kurta Set

Lavender color is the trend this season. This Kurta set looks so chic that it is alone enough to look good. The color catches attention at once. In case you don’t want to mix-match a lot of things and just want a simple solution then I suggest go for this one.

3. Inddus- Blue Georgette Embroidered Kurti with Sharara & Dupatta

Now, I know that it can be a lot for some people. But I believe that one can always underdress or overdress any piece of clothing as per the occasion and their style. That is why I have kept it in my picks for the Raksha Bandhan. I love the soothing colour which makes it suitable to wear in daytime and Long sleeves act as the cherry on top.

4. Ajio-Handblock Print Kalamkari Chanderi Straight Kurta

If you are someone who likes to keep their looks raw and casual then this Kurta is exactly what you need. I am a sucker for these Handblock Kurtas. I love how effortless they look with silver jewellery and with a classic kohl look. You can pair it either with jeans or with brown palazzo.

5. Bunaai- Mint Shade Dhoti Set

In case you are looking for something different then this dhoti set is perfect. No tim tam, simple, chic, and elegant. Loved the sleeves, loved the Kurta’s length, loved the dhoti, and the color. Perfect.

So, these were some of my favorite picks. I would totally like to wear any of them on this Raksha Bandhan. Also, I would like to highlight that it’s not important that you have to buy any of the above-mentioned outfits. You can just wear something that you already own. Else you can take some inspiration from the above outfits and style accordingly.

That’s it for today. I hope you guys like it. Until next time. Byeee!
